Izzy Marie Hill is a 17 year old UK singer/songwriter who, while still at school studying her ‘A Levels’, is producing infectious pop/country crossover songs which exploit the sweet, youthful honesty of her voice. Her songs resonate with her audience, reflecting the feelings and emotions of teenage life – and are ultimately uplifting in their message.
She’s currently recording her first album in a local studio and despite only launching her music video’s on Youtube and other social networks in September, is already causing a significant amount of interest. As far as airplay, Izzy’s music has been played frequently on UK radio including the BBC and local indipendent radio. Izzy has also performed a live session for BBC Radio’s “The Beat” by Dean Jackson and at Leicester Sound, Ivan D’Sa described Izzy’s music as “quite brilliant” when he featured her on his “Next Big Thing” – and subsequently selected her as one of his top three "best ever" new artists.
A singer and talented performer since an early age, Izzy started playing the Keyboard at age 7 and progressed to the Piano at age 10. Her love of music, lead her to experiment with her own song writing compositions when she was 16. Izzy taught herself to play the Guitar earlier in 2010, and this has had a great influence on her perfecting her own pop/country crossover sound that defines her music style.
