ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Jack Drake has now produced three albums of his own rollicking bush poetry, as well as print versions. His real life experiences with horses, sheep, cattle and all things "bushie" (as a saddler, farrier, horse educator, shearer, carriage driver and horseback trail-riding operator high up in the Queensland border ranges) adds a ring of authenticity to to his writings and renditions. It is his aim, in this CD, to present the old Australian classic verses in a way that is reminiscent of the times in which they were written – and he hopes that you will enjoy the tales along with him.
