ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
There's the best of Jack's first two children's recordings mixed up with five new songs. Some of the songs are Jack classics like "Googolplex," "Velcro" and "Tooth Fairy." These will bring some of you back to grade school days when I first launched into doing this stuff. Other songs are new ones, or newly recorded, at least. "Hop Along Song" and "Buttercup Polly" are songs I wrote back in high school days while the other new ones are newly minted. So to speak. These tunes run the gamut of my life, really. They're tunes that have informed my thinking and performing for a long time now. I'm proud of how this collection came together. It includes a cool essay on the concept of googolplex written by my mathematical writer son, Peter.
