ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Well, here it is: my collection of mostly bedtimey material suitable for pajama listening or just about any other time of day! It comes your way with all the love I can dish up and with the very able assistance of my long time friend and collaborator, Scott Malchow. The opening track also opened my kid's shows through all of the '90s and the others are things I've written or picked up along the way. Kind of like burs, I suppose. But good ones!

Of special interest is the tune "Googolplex," probably my most-requested song. It's sorta taken on a life of its own, as they say. It's fun because it's about a big number. A ... REALLY big number!! A googol is a number equalling the number one followed by one hundred zeroes. This exceeds the estimated number of atoms in the entire universe. A googolplex takes this much, much further, however, being ten raised to the power of googol! Ten to the tenth to the one hundredth, if you follow me. I always have a lot of fun introducing this song and trying to give the audience some very slight inkling of just how big a googol truly is. "Imagine that every atom in the universe was a zero. Okay, now imagine that ever atom in the universe was ITSELF a universe. Of zeroes... " It finds a place in this collection because if you're tired of counting sheep, you can count ... zeroes!

I hope this one finds a welcoming corner in the CD player and also in your heart, as it has in mine. Maybe you'll even find the hidden track!
