ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
My goal for this album is for it to appeal to nearly everybody. It's just catchy and upbeat enough to be considered "pop", but with quirky, thought-provoking lyrics. If the beats don't catch your interest and the lyrics don't stand out to you, then I guess I've failed at my job.
Five of the songs on this album were inspired by specific people. When I wrote the songs about these people, it really just turned into an observation of their actions. I called the album "People Watching" because every single song is an observation of behavior, as if I'm on a park bench taking notes of the people walking by.
I've been told my music is comparable to Owl City, Julia Nunes, Rufus Wainwright, Ben Folds, and nevershoutnever. Some of these connections were made because of the lyrical qualities, others because of vocal similarities. My music has the same sort of aura as an Owl City or nevershoutnever song, but with some distinct differences. I'm flattered that I've been compared to such respectable artists.
I really appreciate every ounce of support that you can give me. Thanks!
