ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Jacquie's style is influenced by so many artists and genres, each album has its own divergent style. "Let It Go" is a combination of pop and jazz, utilizing some of Chicago's greatest studio musicians, and produced by Todd Wolf, drummer for Beth Hart. "Night Music" is the true Jacquie, with complex harmonies and soulful longing. "Elegy" is a mostly solo piano tribute to her cousin Paul and integrates some classical form and style with light jazz harmony. "Lily's Lullaby" was written in honor of Lily, an Italian Greyhound who inspired the National Dog Mill Rescue, an organization that saves dogs from horrible situations. Up next, is something completely different: imagine a fusion of pop grooves, classical melodies, and jazz improvisation. Well, don't imagine it. Check back in the spring, and you can hear it.
