Album Notes
Jadie's first few weeks...

So far she is a bit timid. She likes to spend a lot of time curled up in the corner and is quite happy to sit and chew on the wall. Jadie does like to hide a lot and is not too keen on exploring. but we have had rats that started off like that before and went on to become alpha rat and very human friendly. (Isn't that right Kira?) I'm now actually very suspicious that Jadie is in fact blind.

As she gets older...

Jadie seems to have become a lot braver now - although still preferring to hide under covers. She has grown a lot, although somehow no matter how big she has got she still looks all little. Jadie is very good friends with Hasty, she follows him around everywhere and they snuggle to sleep together. And Jadie knows she can always rely on him to share his treats with her!

The other rats she lives with never bully Jadie and she never picks fights with them. You can introduce her to any new rat and she just accepts them immediately with no fuss.

What a great lil ratling!

This CD is one of my favorites, I recommend getting it. I first saw these guys last year at my school, and I must admit--they're awesome live.

this CD is sooooooooooooooo awesome
this cd was so awesome i could not stop listening to it but they sound like radiohead but its still freakin awesome cuz theyre only in college and pj is god and i cannot stop listening to them and i believe that i am going to go slit my wrists and choke myself now so i can bleed and feel alive. blood runs through my eyes and i can see it wash over the rest of my body as i drown in my own emotions and my fingernails peel off like bananas and the skin reveals the truth inside me.

music worth buying

A thought-provoking Indie that leaves you wanting more
A clearly personal work that nevertheless elicits a ton of emotional images in the mind of the listener. This band knows how to write songs! "Weary Wire" is a standout that made the hairs on my the back of my neck stand up. A great first release from these guys...

Album is good. Live they are better
Good band. Good songwriting. Nice production. I've heard them live and wondered why songs they do live arent on this album. If you get a chance, see them live...they are great. 2 brothers lead this 5piece group with haunting melodies, unconventional chord changes, and riveting songs.
nice work.

Taut and bitingly cynical
Taut and bitingly cynical, this cd expresses the shades of grey we all pretend don't exist when we turn out the lights. Sometimes melodic, sometimes cacophonous and desperately sharp, it seems that Jadies Lantern is a torch that lights the very depths of our minds and burns at the fat of our hearts.

quite impressed
I was very impressed with this EP. Inventive, melodic, beautiful, driving, and energetic, I'm really hoping this band comes out with a full length recording one of these days. In the mean time, this EP is one of the best finds I've made here at CD Baby.

This album will rock your socks!
This album is worth every penny you spend on it - and more. Jadies Lantern is an extraordinary band, and in a very short period of time I became a huge fan. Packet with talent, this band absolutely rocks in the studio AND on stage. I highly recommend you check them out. Enjoy!

Maybe is my favorite song and always will be!
You must buy multiple copies of this cd...to have one in your car, your room stereo, and one to carry around at all times just to show it off and introduce people to something they have been missing out on!
