Fuzzy Weather

by Jake Swift

Jake Swift's first album, 2007. All instrumental, compositions drawing from aspects of rock, new age, techno, fusion or jazz, and even a touch of orchestral music; some arrangements have more "air" in the mix, while others are more layered...

Album Notes
I wanted this album to show my interest in more than a couple musical conventions, as well as honor some of my favorite mentors, from Wendy Carlos... to Jaco Pastorius and Joe Zawinul of Weather Report. And I also have a great time just composing in a sort of free-form manner, all on computer. While my second album, 'TransformationZ' remains as yet unpublished, my third album of 2010, 'Secrets Of The XYZ Machine' by Tekno Flips Again is also available on cdbaby. Fuzzy Weather
Good combinations of rhythm and tones. Original sound for this genre.

I really love this album. It's witty, experimental, well orchestrated and well balanced and soothing.
