is one that can easily enrapture even the coldest of
hearts."

"Stark's sense of musicianship and songwriting are in fine form with this album, possessing a romanticism that many darkwave groups attempt to portray, but only rarely do."

A great Album!
I have now got all of Stark's Cd's...they are all great! I love this mans music, it's just so relaxing!

ARCH

Music of night, rage, love and desire. Just staggering!
Lyrics are rich, romantically aggressive and overwhelmingly emotional. This combined with a powerful yet soothing voice. The music has a heart of its own, beating with mixtures of fore and backgrounds that rouse your senses to a different world and a new spirit.

James D. Stark will gently capture the soul of any true Romantic Synthpop admirer.

Romantic Music Of The Night
James D. Stark's third album finds him taking the darkwave and synthpop styles that were dominant in "Fortress Of Solitude" and casting them in a much more romantic mold, with hauntingly beautiful ballads and more upbeat songs filled with longing and desire. Standout tracks include "What It Means", "Hell", "Victoria" and "Bitter End". The previous disc was more music for a rainy day - this is music to curl up with someone you love.

Dark lovely chills all over
I have been looking for just the right kind of haunting, melodic, etheric gothic music with a touch of bittersweet and romance. With this album, James D. Stark has all of that and more! I heard the clips and started to order the CD, but I couldn't wait...bought the mp3's so I could listen right away. One in the morning, had to get up for work at 5, and I couldn't stop! I literally had chills head to toe; I was in bliss. Love it, love it, love it, James---please do more! I hope you continue to enjoy success for many years to come. Dark romantic dreamy goth...doesn't get any better than this.

LadyVanilla

A beautiful, dreamy album.
Music of the Night has a beautiful, dreamy sound that is perfect for anything from a dark, passionate date, a candlelit bath, or a night at your favorite goth club. It is relaxing and sensual, but easy to dance to. This album is definitely a winner.

Probably one of the best artest I heard in a very very Long time
This has to be one of the best cd's I have gotten in a very very long time. With all the crappy music out today.. It was really great to see that someone is actually putting GREAT Industrial work with some of the most AMAZING lyrics I have ever heard out and about.. This cd is a must for anyone who like industrial goth stuff..

Romance & Synthpop's lovechild..
Beauty.. Passion... Eloquence.. Desire... Devotion.. Faith.. Love.. Romance.. Sensuality.. Truth...

Some of the many words that come to my mind when I think to describe the work that James put into his newest and in my opinion truest work to date..

Music of the Night is a deeply moving and emotive album very much in the vein of the great Martin Gore (Depeche Mode), whom James considers to be the originator of romantic synthpop. The lyrics and melodies on this album translate into a listening experience akin to sharing a moment with the one you love & the emptiness of what life can be without them..

I truly don't have the right words to say.. It feels that anything I am writing pales to what is.. I shall end this for now and just say this one last thing..

Buy this album and come to know yourself what i'm the feeling/thinking..
