Album Notes
James Whetzel is a classically trained sarod and tabla player, singer, beat maker, producer and DJ.

He has numerous albums to his credit starting with his ambient album "Sum" released in 2001. Other albums are" "Capitol Hill: Secret Tracks" (2003), "The House of Good Juju"-- released under the name DJ Baba James (2008) "Mean Deep"--with the group Mean Deep (2008) "My Road to Somewhere: Sarod & Beats" (2009), "Vibrance" (2010), "Poetry of Dhoom"--with the group Das Dhoom.

He is currently working on a series of cover tunes 4 of which are complete, these are: "People Are People" by Depeche Mode, "Psychic City (Voodoo City)" by Rich Jensen/Yacht, "Beat and the Pulse" by Austra, and "Wanna Be Startin' Somethin'" by Michael Jackson. The series will be completed in 2013.
