Album Notes
Jane's Party is a Toronto based band, who have gained recognition for their fresh approach to Canadian Roots music. Conceived on the road, somewhere between Toronto and St. John's, 'The Garage Sessions' is a record influenced by the band's 2008 summer tour of the Canadian east coast. The album consists of ten tracks which explore a more organic side of Jane's Party. The Garage Sessions is a very accomplished album, an assured and well-crafted debut from a talented and promising group, truly. It is an absolute delight; a fun, catchy and unique effort that ends as soon as it begins, looking you dead in the face with puppy-dog eyes and asking you sincerely to just love it.
