ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
A selection of psalms sung unaccompanied in 4 part voice.
Having sold out of the first two volumes, this is a compilation recording combining tracks from Vol's 1 & 2.

"This is the highest quality production of metrical Psalms of which we are aware. The combination of God's inspired Word and the professional singing make listening to this CD an amzingly edifying experience."
Still Water Revival Books

The idea for the Psalms In Harmony recordings started in 1996 while walking through the Mourne Mountains in Northern Ireland. I had come from the USA where I had been worshipping in the Reformed Presbyterian Church and singing psalms unaccompanied. The highlight of my trip to the States was singing with 1200 others at the RP Conference in Grand Rapids. Twelve hundred people singing unaccompanied psalms in four part harmony was a unique and unforgettable experience.

After recording a teaching Cd on singing metrical psalms in harmony using a keyboard, I thought I may as well sing the actual psalms in four parts. By God’s grace and to His glory, the Psalms in Harmony Cds have been widely received and a blessing to many. May we see more of this form of worship in our churches.

After selling out of the two volumes, I decided to make one compilation Cd containing 31 psalms.

I hope you are as blessed as others have been.
