ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Jason Mesches recently released his first CD, "Oneg Time," a collection of original, family-oriented Jewish songs.

The title song of the album draws from his early Shabbat experiences. As a "reasonably attentive" 4-year old, Jason couldn't always stay awake through the entire Friday night services. His parents would whisper, "Jason, Oneg Time" and the little boy immediately awakened.

Other songs trace his Passover exploits in search of the afikomen, a tribute to his Granny at Chanukah and celebrating "Shabbat in the Parking Lot". Jason lives in Santa Monica where he teaches Jewish music to children ages 1-15!
