ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
The Duo Vinasco–Ruiz was established in Mexico City in 2004 with the purpose of interpreting the universal repertoire for clarinet and piano with particular emphasis on Latin American music. His work was recognized with a nomination for Latin Grammy Awards in 2008 for his album Astor Piazzolla / Heitor Villa–Lobos. They have had concerts in Mexico, Colombia, United States of America and Canada.
Javier and Edith develop an intense activity in chamber music and as soloists, which combined with university teaching at the EAFIT University in Medellin (Colombia) and UNAM, respectively.
