ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Do you feel stressed or anxious?
Do you want to feel relaxed and be more productive?

RESOURCING & BREATHING is a program that connects you to powerful inner resources that release stress and anxiety, so you can feel calm and centered.

This CD teaches you how to use your “felt sense” —the sensations you feel in your body— as a doorway to calm your autonomic nervous system.

▲“I had a major confrontation with someone and just ‘lost it.’ Your CD really helped me calm down and re-focus. Thank you for doing this.”
—B.M., mother and homeschooler

RESOURCING & BREATHING shows you 10 easy exercises to harness the power of your thoughts, images, emotions, breath and sound. Using your felt sense, you will be able to ground and “root” these inner resources deep in your brain, body and nervous system. You will then…

✹Think more clearly
✹Feel calm and centered
✹Be less reactive with others
✹Feel strong and more resilient
✹Feel more like who you really are
✹More easily access your innate creativity & spirituality
✹Make better decisions about health, love, work and money
✹Enjoy the good things in your life in a new and grounded way

▲“This is a great CD! I got excellent results, especially from the sounds, breathing exercises, and the HU Song. I finally understand why the nervous system “freeze” causes so much trauma as well as health problems.”
—K.B., marketing manager

This program was originally created by Julie DiJoseph, MA, SEP, to teach her clients to release “fight or flight” and “freeze” energies from their bodies. Julie is a somatic (body-centered) psychotherapist in private practice with certifications in many mind-body disciplines.

▲“I felt calm and relaxed after virtually all the exercises. They were easy for me to do.”
—M.M., painter

♥ A NOTE FROM JULIE:
“’Resourcing & Breathing’ is based on over 20 years of empowering clients to find calm and settling within themselves. This CD series combines my most effective approaches into easy-to-use concepts and exercises.

My passion is helping others to appreciate and work with the body's role in emotional, psychological and spiritual challenges.

My help is available to you, through this CD series or through individual sessions and workshops. Visit my website for more information. I wish you many blessings on your journey to health and wholeness."

With warm regards,
Julie DiJoseph

▲“Your tone is warm, caring and alive! You explain the exercises well and it’s easy to follow your instructions. I really liked Making a Resource List — I used a “memory” resource I had never thought of and got very good results.”
—D.P., therapist and homemaker

Gently find your way to understanding yourself!
I love this CD because it gently guides me to find areas of tension that I'm holding in my body and gives me resources and tools to release the tension.

There is no judgement imparted upon the listener and it's very enjoyable to make new discoveries about your body and where you hold thoughts within you - including areas where your thoughts feel stuck.

Resourcing and Breathing
I love all of the CD's, and have been working with the artist for a while. This work is an incredible adjunct to talk therapy and is also something that can get you through hard times. I recommend the whole series to get the complete picture, and have even taken them on a recent trip to South Africa and shared them with mental health professionals there.
