Integrative Restoration (iRest®) is a user-friendly, 10-step protocol based upon the ancient practice of Yoga Nidra. This practice was adapted to meet the needs of the contemporary western world by Richard Miller, PhD., a doctor of psychology with over thirty years of clinical psychotherapy practice and academic research focused on yoga practices. Numerous studies have shown iRest to be effective in treating active duty soldiers suffering from PTSD, insomnia and anxiety from wartime experiences, as well as the homeless, college students, MS, children, and other populations suffering from a multitude of ailments. iRest -Yoga Nidra is a profound meditation practice that systematically combines deep relaxation, affirmation, respiration, visualization and self-inquiry which work together to facilitate the integration of body, mind, and spirit. iRest differs from most meditation practices in that you are invited to relax in a comfortable resting position, such as lying down or seated in a chair while being guided verbally by a teacher or a recording. The practice awakens the realization of one's deepest desires and great potential for healing and enjoying life fully.
Jeanne Dillion, E-RYT 500 is a Certified Yoga Therapist, a Certified iRest Teacher, and Director of Yoga for Wellness, LLC in Boise, Idaho. Drawing from the gifts of her extensive training in Integrative Yoga Therapy, the teachings of many internationally recognized yoga masters including T.K.V. Desikachar, and studies with Integrative Restoration Institute®, Jeanne teaches group and private sessions with a focus on providing safe accessible yoga designed specifically for individuals with health conditions including fibromyalgia, cancer and multiple sclerosis. Additionally, Jeanne offers workshops and retreats, as well as stress reduction and wellness programs for the workplace. Her experience, enthusiasm, and caring motivate participants to rediscover their own true nature of unity and wholeness

Much Needed rest
This is one of my favorites from Jeanne Dillion. My son recently suffered for over a week with terrible allergies and a horrific cough. Unable to sooth him, needless to say sleep was not easy to come by. But, with the help of Jeanne's soothing voice in this guided practice, my son was able to calm himself down, which stopped the coughing, which allowed him to sleep. Then momma could get some rest too!
This album is a must handy for home remedies!!

Bringing peace back to bedtime
I wasn’t sure how Dillion was going to manage the broad spectrum of “kids” from pre-school through high school. She stuck to the iRest method and offers a safe, solid experience for that entire spectrum. No fluff or mommy dear dialect, just the confident voice of a caring adult and the invitation to sense and be safe in their beds and their interior experiences. The whole family will be transformed if the parents will join them in doing the practice. Turn off all the other electronics in the house, and remember who you are in the peace and the comfort of family.


Wonderful my kids love it!
