ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
This is not just another spoken word album. It wasn't simply thrown together after a few weeks of planning. "Lessons Learned" came from over 4 years of growing, falling apart, rebuilding, and then continuing the cycle. Rightfully so, the album is a cycle of overcoming the trials of young life, starting with "Dear Broken Spirit", a poem reminding the listeners that "things will get better, things do get better", and ending with "Ollie Ollie", openly saying to not hold the worries of the world so heavy on your shoulders and "let go." The body of the album was created from broken hearts, new loves, great loss, and even the freshness of life a child can bring. So grab your favorite mug of coffee (or something stronger), kick back, and let it all go with "Lessons Learned."
