ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
This was a two year long project and would not have gotten done without some really great friends.
Jen wanted to do something special with this album so she teamed it up with the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. With every purchase of this album Jen will be donation a portion the CF research.

This album is about love, relationships, encouragement and getting by in life on your own but also with good people to surround you.

"You And I is a strong first full-length effort. Miller seems to have all the pieces required to make some noise in the industry, with her genuine voice and impressive ear for composition and song structure."
- Daniel Robichaud, Vancouver Weekly (Aug 08, 2012)

"Jen Miller has music built into her DNA and the result is a beautiful sound. Her songs again demonstrate the power of simplicity to make us pay attention and connect. Her voice conveys a yearning and a promise to stay connected to her family and her history without stalling her own emotional growth. At times I was reminded of acoustic songs from singer songwriters like KT Tunstall or the Indigo Girls. Make no mistake, Jen Miller is an original well tuned musician built to write and sing great songs."
- Rick Parnell, Vancouver recording artist)

"Jen Miller is one of the most honest song writers I've ever met. She speaks earnestly about reconciliation, peace, and sacrifice. She has passion in her lyrics that most artists work their whole life to achieve. Jen doesn't only capture her audience with her lyrics, but with her incredibly addictive melodies. I played a show with Jen a few months ago, and found myself, involuntarily, humming the melody for two weeks straight. Jen is a very sincere person, and her music mirrors her life. "
-Derek Kehler from Vancouver band "Steel Audrey"
