"This album is really about being who I am; expressing my truth through these songs. From start to finish this project has been guided by my desire for true expression, beginning with my recording the original piano and vocal tracks together at the same time, and without a metronomic "click" track. The result is an album of songs that are very raw, and real; coming through in their natural rhythm and feeling. This album is dedicated to Truth. May truth be revealed in our own personal lives, and the greater world beyond." -Jennifer Bloomer, May, 2009
“With the voice of an angel, Jennifer Bloomer has me weeping tears of joy every time I play “The Abyss … ever encouraging me to take one more step forward … or shall I say, encouraging me to ‘take the leap’ … Her music is uplifting and positive, inspiring all to reach their highest potential in life." -April Miranda, Broadcaster, KVMR Radio, and Producer/Host of “Mountain Beat Music”
“Listening for the first time, I was taken to angelic heights of pristine sounds and vocal expansions....reminding me of the first time I listened to Laura Nyro with Patty LaBelle and the Raspberries. Bloomer's creative mastering of her voice and her piano raises the heights of pure sound. Her inspirational sensitivity saturates both the musical and lyrical realms of creativity. We love Jennifer Bloomer!!” -Kathy Cummins, Music Agent/Promoter
