a more lyrical, modern-day Sandy Bull--fine guitar work.
It's high praise indeed that I am reminded of Sandy Bull when listening to this cd: inventive guitar work often with a mideastern feel by way of modalities & tunings. While Jeremy Lane could not be expected to have attained at his age Bull's level of guitar mastery, his vocals are superior to Bull's (who rarely sang) and Lane's lyrics are fascinating. I would give this cd 4 stars but I suspect his future albums will be even better.

Great lyrics, fantastic instrumental work!
This is a great cd! The instrumental work is fantastic, and the lyrics show a great deal of insight and rhythm that will make you hang on every word. I look forward to hearing more material from this artist!
