ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
In his song, "I Believe in Music," Mac Davis wrote, "Music is love and love is music ... God loves you when you sing."

Music is truly spiritual. Its origin is the pool of universal consciousness of which we are all a part. It is not bound by space or time. As with all art forms, music has the effect of bringing people together and connecting them. It is a common denominator, bridging generation gaps and language barriers.

This is a collection of my songs. I claim credit for authoring these pieces, but in truth songs do not come from the writer -- they come through him / her. They come from that source of infinite intelligence - God, Allah, Jehovah, as you like.

The incredible musicians who worked with me on this album were Pamela Jenkins on saxophone, Bob Grundner on drums (who was ill during our recording sessions and subsequently died from lung cancer - hey Bob, you were truly awesome!), Jeff Walinkangus on bass guitar, Noel Leaman on keyboards and my sound engineer and producer, Keith Schlott, who provided electric guitar rhythm fills on several songs.

I dedicate this album to my family, and in particular, to my brother Jim, whose untimely death came January 16, 1999. My mother, my children -- Miles, Dina and Erin, my former wife Patricia, my brother Jeff, and my many friends have all been inspirational in my small role as songwriter. My sincere thanks, Jerry Lee
