Album Notes
Jerry Pia and the "SlikStuf" band play all styles of music... Rock n Roll, Big Band, Funk, Jazz Rock, Blues, Ballads and Pop. The music is woven with strong vocals and tight harmonies. The band has fantastic musicians and it has been a pleasure working with them in the studio with them: Tony Truglia, lead guitar' Dave Savitsky, Sax; Dom Yorfino, Bass; Joe Roberti, Drums; Bob Falcone, Keyboards, as well as myself on Guitars and Keyboards. I was joined on "Tell Me Why" by vocalist Dina Montefuscoli who added a great dimension to the song. Guitarist Frank D'Andrea and Jon Saxon (Sax) also joined in the fun and some tracks. The diverse range of styles plays well on stage also. Opening for Dennis Deyoung of Styxx and Felix Cavelierre's Rascals, Jerry Pia and SlikStuf was a huge hit! THe songs were extremely well received and everyone loved the wide range of music styles played together in one concert. Enjoy the album! Jerry
