Susan Cox Powell went missing from her home on December 6, 2009, her husband Joshua Powell became the primary person of interest in the case. On February 5, 2012 Joshua Powell murdered their two sons Charlie age 7 and Braden powell age 5, and then killed himself by setting the house on fire.
"Susan's Song: A Dream Away," was written by Camilyn Morrison after the tragic events in February 2012. It is a beautiful song from the perspective of Susan and her boys, written as a message of love and hope that Braden and Charlie are safely back inside their mother’s arms.
All proceeds from the sale of this song will go towards the Susan Cox Powell Memorial fund, to honor and remember Susan, Charlie and Braden and to help other victims of domestic violence.
