Album Notes
This Jesus Hooligan album is the first release as the present live line up. Steve Brunton, Jason Sanders and Dave Croughan with additional barrel beating on sweat by Alice Honey Thompson. The album is a mixture of new and old Jesus Hooligan songs all done as a live band instead of what they used to usually be which was steve a barrel and tractor or drill or anything he liked the sound of. Most of the songs are love songs and a few hate songs, including 2 cover songs, Where did you sleep last night by leadbelly and securicor by crass. The only instruments used in this release are slide guitar, barrells, chains, didgeredoos, gas cannisters, bodhrans and cajon. Along with the distinct vocals of Steve who over the years has had lots his throat removed in operations.
