ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Jigs, Reels and a little bit more is an album of exactly that. From the very first track, it grabs you and draws you into the unique and brilliant fiddle style of Tony Fitzgibons. It then varies the tempos and musical skills with Colm O'Donnell, Jarleth McTiernan and Fintan Farrelly. It goes from jigs to reels, from seán nos to contemporary. Recorded at L.G. Studios in Longford, under the watchful eye of sound engineer, Paul Gurney, the album was created in such a relaxed atmosphere, that you can feel it in the finished product. Other musicians include James Blennerhassett on bass, Shane McGowan on acoustic guitar and Larry Keogh on Keyboards.
