Jim Bassett's debut album of diverse original music is crafted to sound like an iPod on "shuffle".
Jim employed his friends, the best musicians on the planet, to play on this album.
Some of the musicians on "Lockdown" include Alex Evans. Berklee College of Music graduate on Bass, Guitars and most of the arrangements; Bobby Scumaci, Keyboard player with Dave Mason for 10 years and Grammy nominated Angel Melendez on trombone as well as writing horn arrangements for "Last of the Full Grown Men".
Jim would like to thank anyone he has ever shared a stage with over the last 30 years including Tom McManaman, Brent Seatter, Scott Proce, Kevin Mitchell, Dan Donati, Mike "Chewy" Czubik, Rich Geist, Kevin Gale, Dicky Scmidt, Dave Johnson, Aaron Allen and Tom Wick. Thanks to Sean Bishop for the cover design. Most of all, Jim would like to thank his wife Renee for being his muse and inspiring him for years.
