ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
The music from Storytime is just that, real life stories of Jim’s, either first hand or inspired by others. Jim’s ability to see the lessons of life in our own experiences along with his unique songwriting ability is the making of an album you will want to hear again and again.

Jim returns to his bluegrass roots after a 30 year absence with 16 original songs, including two instrumentals—His long held love and appreciation for the culture and music of Southern Appalachia is evident in these unique arrangements. He is assisted by some of East Tennessee’s best bluegrass musicians such as Adam Steffey, Hunter Berry, and Dave Yates.

Listen here to some song clips and sit back and get ready for a long-awaited return of Jim’s master crafting…

Great stories, great songwriting, great music!
What an incredible voice and masterful songwriting. I love listening to this CD in my truck. It lightens the load and gets me where I need to be - in a great mood! Jim found some fantastic musicians to help on this album.
