ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
This album comes from a 18 year love affair with the guitar. It is titled "Instinct" in honor of the way it was put together. Each track began as a live rhythm guitar/drums take in the same room with drummer Paul Broussard. The two have been playing together for over a decade and have developed an instinct for what the other is going to play, and where the improvised music is headed. Then, guest bassists learned the tracks, layed parts down, and a final pass of improvised leads and solos were added, making this a truly improvised record that began with no written music whatsoever, just the natural vibe of great players pouring their hearts out onto tape! It is truly a different approach to instrumental guitar and we hope you enjoy!!
