Album Notes
Songs I wrote and recorded to honor and nurture my inner mechanic. Music that will make you want to keep that old heap running forever!
Uncle Joe was written for my Uncle Joe Anahory for his induction into the NHRA Hall of Fame in 2005.
Tennessee Breakdown is a roadtrip song, true story down to the letter.
The Driveshaft Song - another song about car troubles. Nothing else.
Mickey the Mechanic was written for my Uncle Jimmy (aka Mickey) who Uncle Joe said was the better mechanic.
I did my best to convey their stories of amazing mechanical feats through the fretboard of my heavily modified Telecaster.
The Musicians:
Jimmy Joe Natoli - guitar and vocals
Chrissie Natoli - vocals
Carl LoSchiavo - bass
DB Martin - drums
Sick - fiddle

Recorded by Jason James at Spin Studios Austin, TX except "Mickey the Mechanic", recorded by Tommy Byrd at Byrd House Studio Austin, TX.
