Album Notes
Without music life would be a mistake. Music makes us feel, it brings us together. It even tears us apart. Music is one of the most powerful energies in the known world. It is this that makes me have such a passion for creating it. The feelings you can have or inspire with music are irreplacable to me. Playing guitar since 2000 and writing songs since 2005, this album has been a long time coming. Bands have been made and broken numerously since then, and I finally was inspired by Frank Sinatra. So, with this debut album I "did it my way". Which was 2 and a half intense days in the studio laying down track after track, and here it is "My Own Ways". The title is derived from a song I wrote about not living a conformist lifestyle and doing things like stealing and being dishonest to friends and such. These themes seemed to be thriving amongst some. I choose to do things my way in the song, and feel no need to offer explanation for my decisions to the entity that suffers justice to them.
