FolkPunch

by Jim Page and Artis

FolkPunch - just like it says - Folk Music with a punch to it. Contemporary and hard hitting street activist music with a raggedy circus edge. Tender and argumentative. Acoustic guitar and vocals - plus the most outrageous spoon percussion on the planet.

ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Jim Page and Artis the Spoonman! These two veterans have performed together for years - all over the US, Canada and parts of Europe. This is the first real recording of their work. Thanks to Jack Straw Productions and the encouragement of the many friends and supporters from over all these years - finally! With special guests Mark Ettinger on acoustic bass and Sarah Scott on backing vocals.

Yachtwork

Sailing and loving it
Half way across the Pacific on a sailboat we had the "Mid point party" and for music chose the Jim Page CD. It was perfect and just what we needed.

Scoundrel

Fab-U-Lous!!!
Jim Page's guitar and clever lyrics accompanied with Artis The Spoonman's amazing beats are like listening to them playing live on Pike Street in Seattle! This album is Fab-U-Lous!!!
