ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Isolated Incidents is the new album from Jon Lawrence, the acclaimed singer songwriter who gave you Albatross Bay. The album is very folk rock oriented with lyrical songs that ring with guitars, banjos, charangos, dobros, honky-tonk pianos, hammond organs and Jon's clear singing voice. Some of the songs such as 'Where's My Boy' have political commentary but the main theme behind the CD is riproaring and up-beat tunes such as 'Brandy's Burlesque', 'The Grave-Diggers Hoe-Down', 'Your Cloud' 'Which Way Does the Wheel Turn?' and 'Everyone's Still'. The softer moments appear in the form of 'What if Moses Walked Away?' and 'Carrion Crow'. This is a must-have album for those who like a good tune, a good dance and lyrics to think about.
