Album Notes
J.Melz is The One and Only Original Country Gutter. Hence the title of his debut solo album, Triple O.C.G. You’re not going to find another rapper like him in the entire game. The way he mixes styles of rap is truly unique, there’s something on this album for every rap fan. Here’s a recap of the album for all of you:

1. Intro/Freestyle – The beat came from Indiana and is very simplistic in nature. It allows the listener to start of the album and get in the right mood to enjoy the following tracks.
2. Triple O.C.G. – This is the title track and features the sexy voice of Kyna Renee. The beat, while sounding West Coast, has blended with J.Melz obvious Midwest style to perfection. Notice his use of the popular game 6 degrees to Kevin Bacon in the first verse.
3. Chicks Dig It – This is a collaboration with two other Midwest rappers(c>ritz and Nasty), where they explain the different types of girls and the reasons in which these females like them. Basically in the eyes of the ladies, they can do no wrong. The beat is from Illinois and meshes well with the chopped and screwed chorus.
4. I’m The Man – Produced by the same producer of the aforementioned beat, hailing from Illinois, its simplistic nature draws resemblence to Young Joc’s “It’s Going Down”. Make no mistake though, J.Melz shows he knows how to have fun on a track and controls the beat with pure talent.
5. The Challenge – Women are tired of hearing the same old thing and decide to call out J.Melz on his “I’m the Man” track. Produced out of Atlanta, GA, this song adds creativity to the album. Featuring the sounds of a cheerleading squad and the always sexy Kyna Renee.
6. Rod Smart – With a chopped and screwed chorus, a beat from CA and the rap lyrics from Mr.513, accompanied by the “hottest rapper from Dayton”, this song can’t miss. Young Cash does an excellent feature and the verse rapped by J.Melz has never been stronger. True crunk exudes out of this track.
7. Anymore – A very creative beat that comes from New York, mixes with J.Melz angrier side as he hunts down an enemy from his past. This shows the inner workings of J.Melz mind and any fan of the Eminem ft. Nate Dogg sound should enjoy this track.
8. Who R U – A driving and pulsing beat that never stops, created by Eliot Slaughter from Ohio, as well as J.Melz himself. This song fits the album well and we’ll leave you knowing who this guy is, better run and “...tell your friends, that you have got the scoop”, in the words of J.Melz.
9. Fashion Sense – There’s no doubt J.Melz is a slick individual and with two friends joining in, G-Rab and Nasty, its apparent they know how to look fresh. With another beat from the west coast, this song can’t miss.
10. Can’t See Inside – A chopped and screwed chorus, a beat from Houston, Texas, and J.Melz slowing his style down to fit the fans of Down South Rap...uh oh, this track is too sick. Enjoy riding with the master of lean with you “left hand on the wheel, chilling to the right.”
11. The MILF Song – This song features the R&B hook of Kurtzy and is all written by the master song writer J.Melz. An interesting club hit which seems to be a favorite amongst many club going rap fans. With a beat from New York with a down south feel, you’ll really enjoy shaking that thang to this track.
12. Be With Me – We’re invited to join in and see the inner workings of J.Melz mind as a female from his past resurfaces and leaves him confused. Over top a New York beat, featuring the amazing pipes of one of R&B’s finest, Abe Kuranga, this song is a pure delight, that’ll be related by anyone who has been in love and lost.
13. Say It Ain’t So – This beat features down south appeal and draws comparisons to Lil Scrappy. A west coast beat with the angrier side of J.Melz as he reps Ohio strong. “Ohio is my house” and “welcome to the O-H-I-O” are mixed in with lines from local groups like “do the down the way” as J/.Melz welcomes you to “the Hole in the Wall, the Buckeye State”.
14. Good Die Young – This beat is from Boston, MA, and draws comparison to a smooth 50 Cent style. The singing on the chorus mixes with the smooth sound of the rap as J.Melz explains why he must be a bad guy. True lyrical talent is shown with lines ranging from complex and creative to simple and witty.
15. One Luv – The most genuine track you’ll ever hear, taken in one take, with a beat from the United Kingdom, this show gives thanks to friends, family, other artists, producers, and even shines the light on some of J.Melz philosophies. This track is genuine and pure in every way and is straight from the heart.
