I've always loved the music of Antonio Carlos Jobim-the
Bossa Nova rhythms, beautiful melodies and lyrics. When I was
writing the songs for Pink Sand I was inspired by his music
and my love of sand and sea- whether on a tropical island
or on the beaches of Cape Cod. When I decided to record
Pink Sand I enlisted the talents of Chris Nole to
co-produce it with me.Recorded in Nashville, Chris
assembled a stellar cast of muscians- Pete Huttlinger
on guitar,Byron House on bass,Tom Roady on percussion,
and John Gardner and Bob Mummert on drums.Chris also lent
his talent to keys.I can't thank Chris and these talented
muscians enough for helping me to create Pink Sand. And also
to John Saylor who tracked and mixed it- getting just the right vibe.I am currently writing songs for my next CD- which requires alot of field research......
