Jodi Jean Amble spent her childhood in the small and
artistically thriving community of Spring Green, Wisconsin.
At a young age, she was blessed with artistic mentors who
connected her with theatre, opera and world culture. As a
perpetual student of life and art, Jodi Jean continues to explore
new techniques and genres including jazz, country, rockabilly,
bossa nova, classical, and pop. Jodi delights audiences with her
warm tone, vast repertoire and innate rhythm while inviting
listeners to come closer not just to the melodies but to the
poetry of the stories she sings. An accomplished songwriter,
Jodi Jean’s compositions are inspired by her love of theatre,
literature and poetry. Jodi strives to find the poetry in even
ordinary moments and asks her audience to open their hearts
to poignant honesty of her song.
Aylon Samouha has been performing jazz and bossa nova
guitar in a variety of formats and combos in New York and
the Midwest for the past decade. He is endlessly inspired by
the power of music as dialogue between the musicians
themselves and between performers and audience.
Jodi Jean and Aylon have been a dynamic duo for two years based out of Chicago, IL
