Album Notes
Joe Livoti is a Bay Area guitarist and teacher. He has been a full time guitar instructor since 1986, playing and teaching jazz, rock and blues, some country and classical/flamenco.
Joe studied guitar privately in New York and his teachers included Ernie Arti, Joe Monk and Howard Morgen. His experience includes wedding bands, rock and blues bands, theater shows, fusion and jazz ensembles, acoustic duos, solo gigs and show bands. Joe has three books available at; "Complete Scale and Chord Theory for Guitar", "Applications", and “How to Teach Guitar”
Five instrumental CDs are also available. An acoustic collection; "Ghost Memories", "Late Night at the Kick Back Lounge", a collection of jazz standards and originals, "Greetings from Galaxy X", a electric collection of original rock guitar music, “Kid’s Songs for Grownups Too”, a collection of traditional childrens’ music arranged for guitar, and Christmas at Joe’s.
Joe’s music can also be heard on the scores of several independent films. Barista, Suburban Youth, Spare Parts, Five Days, Cross Country, Singularity, N.Y. On $15 a Day, Thrush T.V. on S.F. cable and Inside Joke T.V. are just a few.
