ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Some words;

First of all, thank you for buying my album! I decided to release this album in digital format only, mostly because people nowadays buy albums on the net, prices are much lower, and you get the music you want straight away. It also saves me a lot of expenses, coz the print-shops are not cheap if if I want to get it done professionally.

The important thing is that the music gets spread, and hopefully you will also enjoy the music I have made on this album!

About the album, I have worked on/off on it for several years. In the meantime, I have been working on many other things to keep my creativity intact.

I have to thank Fabian Del Priore for assistance & help during this production, he\'s been an important part for me personally during this process, giving me insight and an honest opinion with all my work. Thank you Fabian, you are a true rastaman! :)

I also have to thank Oeyvind Vik for his dashing contribution! His feel with the guitar simply brings something extra to my music. We have a good and similar musical understanding between us, so it\'s all just peachy when we work together! Thanks Oella! :)

I must also thank Chris Hülsbeck for sharing some of his topnotch musical experience and for his contributing on the album. All the best to you & your current \"Symphonic Shades\" project!

I would also like to thank Bjorn Lynne for giving me his professional support as always.

Also thanks to my family and to all my friends worldwide who has supported my over the years.

Finally I hope you will enjoy this album, and hopefully I will be back soon with something new to chew your ears up!

Best regards,
Jogeir Liljedahl

Splendid CD
I've also got the physical CD from CDbaby and what can I say - Out of Silence is a splendid CD production with amazing, top-notch tracks, en par and also superior to Jogeir's equally amazing first album. My favorite tracks on Vol. 2 are clearly Nestea (fav part starting at 2:05) and Latenite (fav part 1:07, would fit as an credits song for a hollywood blockbuster, maybe an animation film :). Words really cannot describe what absolute beauty lies in those and in all other tracks on the album.

I congratulate my good and longtime friend Jogeir to an outstanding and paramount achievment, and send huge respect and kudos to Yogi - you're also a true rastaman! :)

EXCEPTIONAL ALBUM
Jogeir picked the perfect songs, Nestea and Antiquated, to open and close an exceptional album. Overall, the music is versatile, upbeat, inspiring, relaxing, and refreshing. Every time that I listen to the album, it seems like new music. For some inexplicable reason, my brain has memorized Nestea. It sounds very familiar although this is the first album of Jogeir's, that I purchased.

A Ride Into A Sonic Landscape!
When I bought this CD, I wasn't sure what to expect from it, as I am only familiar with Jogeir Liljedahl as a Amiga composer/musician back in the days, and not as a actual musical artist. And I never paid enough attention to his music at the time being. But after putting this CD into the player I can only tell you that I'm not disappointed a bit!. This one has everything that made Jogeir Liljedahl famous back then and much..much more!

Well polished electronic music is what you will hear, actually a little bit in the same vein as Tangerine Dream & similar artists, but there are also traces of some 'Guido Meyer' guitar moments here and there. And this can be heard on tracks such as 'Nestea' and 'Hidden Past', which are in my opinion the peak of his creativity and makes this CD worth buying for those two tracks alone!. Am I Impressed yet? Oh YES!

The rest of the tracks are also mindblowing synthesizer extravaganza from start to finish. It is clear to me that Chris Hülsbeck was involved in making this CD come true, as there are many significant sounds that reminds about his earlier works. Listen to the track 'Antiquated' (Turrican II anybody?), and you will instantly have a flashback to the heydays of the Amiga 500.

This is definetely a CD for those seeking out something new and something old. It delivers it all and contains all the elements that conjures up a well crafted electronic music voyage with the touch of some gorgeous sounding guitars in it aswell. A Lush mix!

I give it my warmest recommendations to just anybody(!) who is looking for more of what TD produced back around 1988-89, but also for those who like intrumental guitar based music. Top Stuff!!

Again, Highly Recommended!!

Amazing
Got the physical CD (!!!). It's so great! The song Latenite is one of the perfect things I've ever heard! Just listen to the previews, and if you like it, GET it!

Have I already told it's great?

SIMPLY BRILLIANT!
Worth the long wait and a brilliant sequel to the first album . I've spent some days carefully listening. This album is just great! I can only thank Jogeir for all he's put into it. The songs are so richly layered, the more you listen the more you hear. This is right up there with the best melodic electronic....so another album to cherish, can't wait for the next! Hope it'll be soon!
