"Passion" shows Schütz' songwriting from his most playful and gentle side, effortlessly merging the influences from pop, latin (Brazil/Cuba) and jazz.
A bossanova experiment with chord colorings and sudden accidental flats in the melodies, "Passion" was an unexpected top-seller in Japan at its release, with shops selling several hundreds of copies each by just word of mouth, outselling most major label releases.
It was re-issued with a new cover in 2007 with 2 bonus tracks, which are both included here as well.
