Album Notes
A collection of recordings by the gypsy trained guitarist John Burr. Including some of his live work at the renowned New Orleans club, Tipitinas . He is known for his passionate interpretations of traditional flamenco music. His superb technique is both moving and powerful. His roots in flamenco, come from the tradition of Moron de la Frontera, Spain. None of these recordings were intended for use on an album, but were assembled later by his friends and followers. Since 1980 John Burr has made his home in New Orleans. Reviewers has described his work as having a " A soulful dynamic flair ."
