John Cassel, one of Vermont's musical giants, has done it again! This latest release features a collection of "moon songs" played in John's signature style that comprises a masterful blend of melodies and intricate tempos to please musical sensibilities of all ages.
The classic "Moon River" opens the CD, played with the emotion and tenderness that Henry Mancini intended. "Blue Moon" intricately intertwines with "Sleepwalk" in a musical sleight-of-hand that grabs the listener's attention while immersing them in a dreamy, slow dance of imagination. John Fogerty's classic "Bad Moon Rising" is a surprise tune that demonstrates Cassel's ability to make each song his own. "Claire de Lune" blended with an original composition, "Moon Dream", showcases John's experience and depth of musical talent as he combines this beautiful classical work with the CD's title song.
John performs at the Trapp Family Lodge in Stowe, Vermont five nights a week.
