ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
"Classical guitarist John Kizzie is a flawless craftsman, whose heart works its way into every piece he plays," states writer, Rachel Simon. The Denver Weekly News wrote, "John Kizzie, classical guitarist, moved so smoothly that the melody just mellowed the audience and left it in awe."

John Kizzie, the classical guitarist, is a testament to the power of music. Originally, he played guitar in rock and roll and R&B bands. Upon hearing Rodrigo's Concerto de Aranjuez, particularly the second movement, he had an epiphany and has played the classical guitar ever since. He has gone on to concertize as a classical guitarist. He is currently working on his next project featuring six original pieces written for classical guitar. These pieces reflect his love of jazz, folk, and classical music.
