A Kiss for Isabel

by John Michael Roch

Isabel Edith Roch is one year old. She is a beautiful and happy baby. Her father, Anthony is my cousin Salvador’s son. Salvador and his lovely wife Janice are the proud grandparents and at this stage of our lives being a grandparent is a wonderful thing. So far I have 6 grandchildren and I know how precious they can be. I wrote this song for Isabel… I guess I was moved by her plight and was inspired to depict through my music her strength and positive demeanor even at her young age. Feel free to download the song if you so choose and I hope you enjoy listening to it as much as I enjoyed writing and recording it.

ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
John Michael Roch was born in Barcelona, Spain. At an early age, with his family, he moved to Cuba where he lived for twelve years. There he learned to appreciate Latin rhythms. Later, after having moved to the US he began playing in local rock bands. Originally a bass player and later on drummer for various rock acts, he toured and recorded as well as writing material for the band. After producing and writing for various independent artists, he began a solo career and started to write for himself again, this time switching to keyboards and choosing the "romantic" style of music evident in his compositions. With the help of a few friends, all excellent musicians, he has put together a collection of romantic melodies driven by a variety of Urban and Latin rhythms which has been called "love making music." They may be right.
