ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Inspired by the idea of foreboding and a warning of things to come, Bellwether, is the new release from Minneapolis based indie rock band John Up Front. From the haunting chant and military march of the opening track, "Balladeer," to the anthem-like tale of fallen icons and empires in "Frequency," the album employs a wide variety of styles to tell ten stories of loss, love, conflict and destruction.

John Up Front features Keith Hovis on vocals and piano, Ryan Dixon on guitar and viola, Sam Worms on bass and the banjo, Christian Bardin on vocals and Alex Erdman on drums.
