As a singer/songwriter Jo Linder's contemporary country style has provided her an opportunity to open for acts ranging from Kenny Loggins to John Hartford. She credits her songwriting to Carol King, Lennon/McCartney and Joni Mitchell.
Born in Southern California, Jo Linder began playing guitar and writing songs at the age of thirteen. "I was very fortunate to fall in with a group of excellent musicians early on" says Linder. She honed her craft over the years of playing on the road across the U.S. She now makes her home in Nashville, Tn. where she is working on her 2nd album due out in the spring of 2007.
In 1997 Jo co-produced her first independent album YOU JUST GET TO ME" with drummer Doc Perrin.
