Album Notes
Melissa is a wife, a mother and a Country Music Singer. Born and raised in Northern Utah, she is one of six children born into a musical family. Her mother is a concert pianist and her father a die-hard country music fan. Thus her home was filled with sounds ranging from Mozart to Merle.

A singer and songwriter since an early age, Melissa’s dream pursuing music was realized six years ago after recording a song as a birthday gift for her father.

Her experience as a performer started at local nightclubs in Utah, Wyoming and Idaho. Her performances led to opening acts for Keith Urban, Terri Clark, Collin Raye, Chris Cagel, The Oak Ridge Boys, Andy Griggs and The Marshall Tucker Band.

With the support of her family and other committed believers Melissa traveled to Nashville and recorded a song which found its way to noted producer Nelson Larkin. As a result, her debut album has recently been completed and her first single “The Perfect Man” has been released for radio nationwide.

Melissa’s rich voice will pull your heart and soul into each song. Her energy in the up-tempos and her warm emotion in the ballads will embrace you from the very start ... and that’s a promise!!!

Would I...Belive it?
Believe it? Yes! I a heartbeat. I would love to play a B-3 in that band behind that voice.
I love the range of styles presented. Melissa seems so comfortable in each. This is a terrfic album.

Sky high is the limit for this one!!
Here is a very talented lady with a top notch voice and a basket full of excellent songs to sing! I liked all the tracks on this album; there are no losers here. If you like the steel guitar sound of traditional country, you'll love "In The Valley Of The Shadow". I also very much liked the soft rock beat of "Strongest Weakness", "You Just Wouldn't Believe It", and "Paint This Town". For those who are looking for soft warm ballads, Melissa offers you several to choose from, starting with the really good "Not Like This". My most favorite track is "Almost Mine", which sounds like a blues tune from the days of Hoagy Carmichael's "Stardust" or George Gershwin's "Someone To Watch Over Me", and Melissa sings the heck out of it!! Let's face it folks, there is music here that will please anyone. Excellent work, especially for a first album. A very fine band backing a wonderful voice singing great songs and real good engineering on the production. Who could ask for better! Keep it coming Melissa!!

Steve Bigler

The Answer To Your Question!
Hey Frank, Steve Bigler here. Nice to meet. I'm just a guy who does a little writing and producing. Isn't Melissa great?! It was my privilege to co-produce this album and write seven of the cuts. I can't take much credit cuz Melissa could sing the phone book and make it a hit! I have more of her work if you truly just gotta have more! Or contact her at her website.
