ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
On June 28, 2009, a newly opened club called the Rainbow Lounge was raided by Fort Worth police and TBAC officers, resulting in several arrests and one life threatening injury. The documentary "Raid at the Rainbow Lounge", directed by Robert Camina, vividly captures the efforts of the Fort Worth GLBT, police, and political communities to bring the event to national attention, demand thorough investigations of the actions of the officers involved in the raid, and begin to build programs which concetrate on education about to public work officials about the importance understanding GLBT concerns and issues.

Director Robert Camina asked for music submissions from Josh Bradford with only one request: "I would like something haunting." And the piano music used in the film definitively underscores two emotionally pivotal moments in the film. Included here are two pieces, one previously released on Josh Bradford's first release, and a never before released piano work, "Ground Zero is Clear Today." This is Josh Bradford's first official online music release.

This Artist is Going Straight to the Top
Josh Bradford is an extraordinarily talented artist. His composition skills are second to none and I believe that his work shows an insight and vulnerability rarely found in other contemporary artists. His star shines brighter every year and I can't wait until everyone has had a chance to listen, absorb, and appreciate his art.
