ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
"A first-rate musical storyteller, Josh Carples projects life through music - personal and profound."

That quote from Joseph O. Patton from the Capital City Free Press sums up the music on "The Final Scene," Carples six-song follow-up to "Note from the Georgian Hotel."

While "Note" was deliberately more minimalist in nature, "The Final Scene" picks up with more - guitars, vocals, keys, etc. The focus is clearly the song and the emotion behind it.

Known for his work in rock bands - Hail the Titans, Easy Kiddo, The Boss and The Rabbi, Marsellus, 12th Hour - his solo, acoustic releases showcase a different side of the rock musician in much the same way as Alexisonfire's Dallas Green (City and Colour) and Hot Water Music's Chuck Ragan.

Every song on the album was written, arranged, performed, produced, recorded, mixed and mastered by Carples.
