ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
"Reflections is a compilation of my favorite songs... music from the well-known musicals Les Misérables, The Phantom of the Opera, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolored Dreamcoat... there are also songs originally made popular by artists Josh Groban and Michael Bublé..."
- John Paul Rudolph

John Paul Rudolph is a 22 year-old recent music graduate. His vocal talent and style has been compaired to that of Josh Groban, Michael Bublé, Donny Osmond, Andy Williams and many other artists who John Paul himself idolizes. John Paul takes an interesting twist on each of the songs he sings, personalizing them to fit his own unique style of music.

John Paul comes from a background of vocal talent with singers on both sides of his family. John Paul's younger brother Matthew and three of his cousins, all sisters, also sing. Matthew sings backup for John Paul on You Raise Me Up, while the eldest of the three cousins, Rebecca, duets with John Paul in All I Ask of You. All five of the "cousins" are features in 3 albums by Rose of Sharon Media, a music ministry started by John Paul's mother in 1997; with one album soloing Rose Marie Rudolph's voice.

John Paul's debut album, Reflections, is a collection of songs that he holds closest to his heart. John Paul shares his personal thoughts on Reflections:

"These songs have had a significant inpact on my life as a young musician... I wanted to wanted to sing them as a thank you to all my musical influences... But especially for my mom, who has been my greatest musical influence. She has a beautiful voice herself and has been extremely supportive of me in all my endevours. Reflections is dedicated to her for her love and support. Thanks Mom!"

Tremendous Vocal Talent
“Reflections” by the stunning vocalist John Paul Rudolph is a heart-warming reinvention of easy-listening and modern opera classics! Featuring break-through hits like “You Raise Me Up,” John Paul does an excellent job at recreating timeless classics made popular by icons Josh Groban and Michael Bublé, and favorites from popular musicals such as Phantom of the Opera. With absolutely no hesitation, any listener can assert that John Paul’s voice is the biggest commodity of “Reflections.” His warm, soothing timbre, likened to the Broadway vibes of Josh Groban, radiates sincerity, passion, and timelessness. These songs required a very wide range and complete vocal and pitch control, all requirements that seem to come effortlessly to this extremely talented musician. What’s more, “Reflections” is composed with articulate and masterful instrumentation – beautiful pianos take the main stage, accentuated by emotion-invoking string symphonies and acoustic arrangements. Wrapped up with solid professional production, “Reflections” comes across as the complete package. Fans of Broadway and musicals, as well as artists like Josh Groban, will fall head-over-heals for this inspiring release!
