JUDA (Kevin Dziuda) was born in Trenton, NJ on November 1, 1986. The name JUDA actually comes from the phonetic way of pronouncing the last name Dziuda. Since it was always mispronounced, he decided to change the spelling to make it easier for the name to be known. The name stuck, as well as the persona that came with it. JUDA had not only turned into a stage name but also a form of “alter-ego.”
Having always had a wide variety of musical influences growing up, it wasn’t until his early teenage years that rap music had really become a major impact in his life. JUDA had become infatuated with the lyrics, word play and meaning behind the rhymes in hip hop songs. He had always tried to find ways to express his creative abilities, but found his niche in writing. Continuing to develop and strengthen his work, JUDA began recording songs in his high school years. This helped mold his recording techniques and style into something he became comfortable with.
Through life’s ups and downs JUDA had to put recording on pause while dealing with obstacles, transitions and growth. Things weren’t working out too well in Jersey, so inevitably it was time for change. In 2006, JUDA decided to pick everything up and move to Orlando, FL. Leaving everything behind was a challenge, however it didn’t take long for him to adjust to the southern lifestyle. Once JUDA was back on his feet he linked up with a few local artists and producers to begin working on music again. Realizing it was easier to be done on his own time, he put his time and investments into getting his own equipment and learning to record himself. Now stronger than ever, JUDA is ready to hit the music scene with full force.
