Album Notes
Judy's first Christmas album, "The House on Christmas Street," became a smash when decorating enthusiasts all over the world discovered its title song and have been using it in their animated Christmas displays ever since. Search "The House on Christmas Street" on YouTube to see what they have done!
Now, Judy's long - awaited second Christmas CD takes listeners into the home of Mrs. Claus in the North Pole, where she welcomes you with freshly baked cookies, talks about the true meaning of Christmas, and shares songs from her favorite singer, Judy Pancoast. It's a magical hour that will have you and your children returning again and again.
Featuring seven original festive songs (including The House on Christmas Street remix), the album also features a beautiful version of the traditional hymn "Silent Night" with a narration of the Christmas story by public broadcasting personality, David Brancaccio. Maine radio star Chuck Foster performs the part of "Good King Wenceslas" in a dramatization of the song that brings its meaning alive in a way you've never heard, and children's singer-songwriter Dave Kinnoin joins Judy on a rollicking duet, "The Disastrous Toboggan Disaster 1967," about a true incident in Judy's childhood.
This will be the album playing, along with Bing, Andy and the Carpenters, in the background on all of your Christmas family videos.
NewSound Kids says: "CHRISTMAS WITH MRS. CLAUS follows the festivities of the season from a unique angle – that of Mrs. Claus and her busy schedule keeping the North Pole running smoothly. Pancoast has a soft, clear voice with a gentle edge that makes these songs sparkle, be it traditional songs or unique originals."
Planet Christmas Magazine says: Planet Christmas Magazine says..."With a warm, clear crystalline voice reminiscent of Karen Carpenter, she delivers carols, hymns and comic holiday remembrances, floating effortlessly between traditional secular songs and songs with an emphasis on the reason for the season."
See why reviewers say "Judy Pancoast was born to sing Christmas music" and add this wonderful CD to your holiday collection today!
